According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), vaccinations are one of the most convenient and safest preventive care measures available.​

Vaccinations given during childhood can wear off over time which is why it is important to keep vaccinations up to date.​ Additional vaccinations may also be needed based on certain factors such as your age, job, lifestyle, travel, or health conditions.
